QuietMove ( Undergoing New Review)
The accuracy of the content of the existing QuietMove review was challenged by an employee at QuietMove. It is our policy to rebuild a review if the subject of the review feels that the initial review was untruthful or inaccurate in any way. Our goal is to be honest and to expose Professional IT Security Providers for what they really are.

I think maybe you're being a bit harsh. For one, security testing is a tough business for the little guys. Secondly, they do assessments that most of the conglomerates won't touch because it's not worth their hourly consulting fee. That leaves the scanner subscription services and the small testing shops that are competing and personally I'd like to see the scanner shops lose that fight. Now I agree that anyone selling anything should spend some time with a spell and grammar check but other than that, you can't really knock ex-UNIX admins who wend their way into security as most have. I'm also of the people who learned security in the field as an admin because security just was not available as a course or even a certification. So your hit on that topic was an unfair cheap shot. I also think that it wasn't fair for you to publish the transcripts of their defense without making the full e-mail thread available. I actually think that it should have been kept off-line altogether because it also makes your review look vengeful instead of researched.
I like this blog so far and I am glad someone is out there making informed critiques. Do focus on the bigger companies though since that's where you'll benefit many more people since many more buy from them (or else they wouldn't be so big).
And possibly you'll post links to their sample reports so we can see what your talking about?
With a full and complete knowledge of the sociopath that is Andre Gironda (and little of QuietMove), I think perhaps his involvement skewed your review somewhat.
Simply opening his mouth has sunk many an operation. This is the same guy who once said in an interview, "I don't want to be a stuipd asshole manager like you" - and then didn't understand why he didn't get the job.
This seems no different. Someday, people will realize he's not really a very good person to ask for a reference from (or to be a reference to). Here's hoping this company can overcome its initial lack of experience and poor spokesperson to go on to something a bit better than an F+ someday.
